I love this wedding because it included so many of my favorite elements: sentimental storytelling, beautiful design and a couple filled with authentic joy and love for one another.
Laura and Ty chose to have their wedding in Ty’s hometown of Canton, Ohio. Ty grew up in a beautiful home in Historic Ridgewood. He was an active part of the Canton Ballet which is why they chose the Canton Cultural Center for the Arts as their wedding and reception venue.
Like so many others, Laura and Ty’s wedding was affected by the Pandemic. Their original 2021 date had to be postponed. They got married in an intimate elopement in their current town of Boston but continued their wedding plans for March of 2022. Six weeks before the new wedding date, their beautiful daughter, Lucy was born. Now they have an incredible story to tell her someday and she got to be present for the celebration of her parents wedding!
I love that Ty and Laura wanted to truly capture Canton in their photos. I think we did it! The city was their backdrop. Sirpilla Soirees transformed the Canton Cultural Center for the Arts into an intimate and magical space for their family and friends. Their vows were beautiful and their joy was abundant.
Laura and Ty, it was a pleasure to document your beautiful day. We wish you and Lucy many wonderful years to come!
